Colodny, Fass, Talenfeld, Karlinsky & Abate’s Fred Karlinsky Tapped as London-Based Insurance Market Instructor for Sixth Consecutive Year
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Fred Karlinsky, a shareholder with the Fort Lauderdale-based law firm of Colodny Fass Talenfeld Karlinsky & Abate, recently completed his sixth consecutive year as an instructor for the London, England-based Insurance Market Conferences (IMC).
IMC provides extensive training for the London insurance market. Through IMC courses, attendees may achieve United Kingdom Financial Services Authority competency requirements and other insurance industry continuing education training.
Mr. Karlinsky’s IMC presentations included U.S. excess and surplus lines insurance and emerging issues in U.S. insurance, as well as recent developments in U.S. insurance regulation. Other presentations also included updates on the state of the Florida and U.S. regulatory and political markets.
Mr. Karlinsky focuses his practice on insurance regulatory, insurance transactional matters and governmental affairs. He also serves as Florida counsel to the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America and general counsel and chief lobbyist for the Florida Property and Casualty Association, an association comprised of a number of the Florida domestic property and automobile insurance companies.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where he is also an adjunct professor of insurance law.
